Now offered 100% online, this comprehensive program prepares students to navigate the evolving landscape of public administration with the tools to strategically solve problems, analyze policies, and meet public service needs at the local, state, and federal level, as well as in the private and nonprofit sectors.

The 30-36-credit hour program is offered entirely online and emphasizes courses in human resources, public policy, ethics, and decision making, empowering students to make an immediate impact on the communities in which they serve. Additionally, all six week courses are asynchronous, which means you can study when and where it works best for you. There are no in-person requirements or scheduled online class meetings.

Drawing on the expertise of the College of Business and Public Administration’s renowned faculty, the Drake MPA curriculum is enriched by experiential learning, team collaboration, and real-world scenarios. Adaptable in its design, students can tailor the degree program to align with their specific goals through career-focused curriculum in areas such as:

Healthcare Management – Gain an understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape through the completion of coursework consisting of healthcare administration, healthcare policy, ethics, law and advocacy and conflict resolution.

Public & Nonprofit Management – Expand your ability to lead and manage with confidence as you complete coursework that focuses on public policy and advocacy, exploring the changing nature of public service to maximize impact and building organizations with resiliency and talent to do good.
